The Mandap Co. at Garba Manchester 2026 – Celebrating Navratri
Shubh Navratri!
The Mandap Co. is delighted to be joining this year’s Navratri and Garba celebrations in Manchester, with stalls at both Wythenshawe Forum and the National Cycling Centre.
Navratri is always a fantastic opportunity for families and communities to come together, celebrate, dance and enjoy the traditions that make this time of year so special.
If you’re attending either celebration, come over and say hello to us. You don’t need to be planning a wedding or event – we’re looking forward to catching up with familiar faces, meeting new people and enjoying the celebrations with everyone.
We’ll be there in collaboration with PhotoBae and Apnabeat, so if you are planning a wedding, party or family celebration, you’re also very welcome to have an informal chat with us about your ideas.
Celebrating Navratri, Garba and Our Traditions
Navratri has a particularly special place within the Gujarati community, with Garba and Dandiya bringing generations of families together for music, dance and celebration.
Manchester and the surrounding areas are home to vibrant Gujarati, Punjabi, Bengali and wider South Asian communities. Celebrations such as Navratri are a wonderful reminder of how these traditions continue to bring families together and are passed from one generation to the next.
Those traditions are also at the heart of many of the weddings we have the privilege of being involved with.
Every Hindu wedding is different. Gujarati, Bengali and Punjabi Hindu ceremonies each have their own customs, rituals and family traditions, and even within individual communities, no two families necessarily celebrate in exactly the same way.
That is something we always try to respect when providing a mandap and décor for a wedding.
From the Mandap to the Party
The Mandap Co. provides traditional and contemporary Hindu wedding mandaps, ceremony décor and wedding styling.
Through Apnabeat, we can also help with Asian wedding DJs, Bollywood and Bhangra entertainment, Dhol players, dancers, Mehndi artists and entertainment for everything from pre-wedding functions and Garba nights to wedding receptions and parties.
PhotoBae completes the mix with modern wedding entertainment including luxury photo booths, 360 experiences, AI photo booths, instant photography and personalised photo experiences.
Having The Mandap Co., Apnabeat and PhotoBae working together means couples and families can talk to us about as much or as little of their celebration as they need.
